Butterly’s Haven provides a continuum of care to meet the unique needs of our residents. Our in-house and partner-provided access to services ensure that residents are supported at all levels of their journey and growth. We pride ourselves on being compassionate and culturally competent. Butterfly’s Haven offers 24-hour on-site childcare for children ages 0-7, free to residents. At Butterly’s Haven, we prioritize supporting the well-being of young children by providing them with quality early childhood care and a safe place to learn and grow right on the property where they live. Moms can feel comfortable knowing their children are at home, safe and happy.
All mothers and children will have the opportunity to be paired with a court appointed special advocate that will ensure the continuity of their services, advocate for their needs in court and in life, and be a consistent, loving and supportive person they can count on throughout their journey.
Butterly’s Haven provides stylish new and gently-used clothing at our on-site boutique. Our clothing includes casual wear, outerwear, business attire, and children’s clothing that is distributed free of cost to residents. The boutique is guided by CASA CEO Charity Chandler-Cole’s values, calling us to step into our power from the inside out.
We empower our residents to take charge of their lives and master goal-setting. Our on-site life coaches partner with our residents one-on-one to develop individualized life plans to identify and reach goals including employment opportunities, sustainable housing solutions, and financial stability.
Butterfly’s Haven has developed partnerships throughout Los Angeles to provide internship and employment opportunities for our moms.
